Aboriginal Law

Over a Decade of Experience

Christopher N.H. Butz and Danish Shah have a decade of combined experience in handling Residential School Claims, and have attended hearings in virtually every jurisdiction in Canada. We are capable and experienced and want to help you tell your story in the safest way possible.

Aboriginal law is a complex field that often involves the enforcement and interpretation of treaties between the Canadian government and Aboriginal people. At Butz & Company, no Residential School client in the Independent Assessment Process is charged a legal fee that comes of the claimants award, we restrict our fee to Canada’s contribution towards our fees (15%), the client is only required to pay the applicable taxes on Canada’s fee contribution.
